I cannot find any pitcher that seems even remotely similar. The base appears to be from a water pitcher mold?

Yes, it is a Pitcher from Tiara Exclusives. Reproduction of antique glass. Tiara Exclusives purchased the right to use the mold of the depression sandwich glass. This pitcher came with a bowl which it sat in. Kind of like the old pitcher and bowl that you would wash your face with. There was also a set of candle holder that matched. I actually have the bowl and the candle holders. My pitcher broke years ago. I used to sell the glass in the 1980's. The color was called Teal.

That is a gorgeous piece! Where did you get it? I am currently collecting pieces in teal & aqua. If you put it on auction, let me know :)
