Hello

I am a 43 year old female adverturist that purchased my first mountain bike when I was 38 years old. My first ride at Croom in Withlacoochee National Forrest was exciting and fun, but I did get lost for a while. It was my first time in this area and there are several trails (hiking and horse trails) that also cross the bike trails. I soon learned one trail and never deviated from that trail for several years for fear of getting lost. Then I found a Garmin Edge 205 Cyclocomputer that was also a GPS and I was ecstatic! This is exactly what I needed! Now I bike the other 50 miles of trail with a new found bravery! I am also on a quest to map out the region by downloading my rides into National Geograpic TOPO Maps.

Now when I bike, hike, or kayak, I always bring my Garmin Edge to give me the security I need when exploring.
