Has anyone used one of these? I like strobe tuners, and I have a Korg rack model, but I would rather have a decent tuner on my pedalboard that will work for several different tunings. Are they worth the money?
Useful Funny
From what I researched when I went hunting for a new tuner for my pedalboard, and consequently what I am going with, Korgs Pitchblack is a bonified true bypass, you'll need to make sure you get the Strobostomp II to get a triple pole dual throw hard bypass. The Peterson unit sells new for $199, the Pitchblack is $85. I feel the Korg is easier on the eyes to read, especially when ones eyes arent what they were 20 years ago. ANd for a cost savings of $100, memorize your alternate tunings or easier yet, write them down on your setlist beside the appropriate songs. If you can hold out, i hear that korg is supposed to be realeasing a new model that will do everything the Strobostomp II does.

Thats my opinion on the subject.

I have one. You'll never be so in tune. Indispensible for studio work. Worth the money.
