I have never left a negative or neutral comment before. I bought some shorts for my son about 27th of June and still have not received them. I was reading some of the other posts and did not realize that my feedback of people was limited. Anyway how long is too long to wait before I email the seller about my items and being sent. Wondering how long people wait before contacting the seller. Thanks

HI, You first want to see what shipping service you paid for, Priority, First Class, or Parcel post (which is the longest). You also want to see what the seller's porcessing and shipping time is. I have bought from sellers that only ship once a week, and it took 2 1/2 weeks to get my item from the time i paid!! I am very excited to recieve items I buy on ebay and am like a little kid at christmas when it comes to waiting by the mailbox.

I have emailed sellers at a week just to confirm when they have shipped the item. You can ask that at any time after your purchase. Ask them for a tracking number or Delivary confirmation number.

Remember you are their customer! They should want to make you happy! Do not send a nasty email about waiting or anything like that =) And do not use the feedback system with out communtcating through email first. Sometimes seller's forget or have an issue besides ebay and get behind. Just send a friendly email asking when it was shipped, ect.

Hope I was of some help. ~Nicole~

I am just like wild-flower-design, I wait by my mailbox everyday. And if I am waiting for a Gymboree lot...I call by boyfriend from work to see if I got a box that day!!
So to my disappointment, I bought a lot of clothes in May (mother's day to be exact). I waited a week and a half- no box! I e-mailed the seller and she said it was going to go out the next day via Priority. A week later (and SEVERAL phone calls to my boyfriend from work) still no box. I tried to communicate with the seller for a week after that- nothing. So after 10 days I was awarded my $ back from PayPal.
So I took that $ and bought another lot. 3 days later I am waiting my the mailboz (it was to be shipped Priority). A week later- nothing. Seller won't communicate. A week later I open a claim and 10 days later, PayPal awards my $$ back.
So by this time I'm in distress. My store is coming to a standstill. I must do something. So I take that $$ and but another lot. This time before I buy I stress to the seller the importance of having this lot quickly. So says no problem. So to my dismay, I still don't have my box 2 weeks later. I contact the seller and she says that it has not been mailed out yet- and gives me a refund....

I am wondering why a seller would do that. I am worried about my cutomers if I don't get their item out THE NEXT DAY! Do these people not care about cutomer service. How can they take people's $$ (especially $150) and not care about sending their package out.
I say that if a seller does not get the item out within 3 days, it's bad business. I don't know how other sellers think about that, but I have never taken more than 2 days to mail something out. And I am a single mother of 2, working a full-time job.
So you contact away! You paid for your item and expect it in a timely manner!!!

Hi there,
I agree with you if you buy something you should receive the items in a timely manner. I bought something from someone a July 4Th and have e-mailed them several times they finally returned my e-mail last Tuesday saying that they got behind and were getting it out in the mail on Tuesday last week. I sill have not receive the item as of Saturday. I re e-mailed them and have not received a reply. This was not a bank breaker item only around 5 dollars but I feel that they are being unfair. Help me what should I do??

I would file an item not received report. Sometimes that gets the ball rolling and the seller will mail it out. I think that if you pay through PayPal, then file an Item Not Received, the funds get held in the sellers account until the matter is cleared up. So sometimes that motivated them... :)
