I just read the post on keeping the clothes stain-free, but....what about ink stains?? I can't seem to find anything that will get them out. I've tried OxyClean, Shout, Spray-n-Wash....even hair spray (which always seemed to work on my own clothes back in the day). So....anyone have something that works for them???
Thanks!

Try making a paste with Biz and water. rub it on the damp article of clothing. Keep it moist and rub it in to the stain, soak over night in water, then wash, may take a few attempts, but it usually works. hope it helps.

spray and wash advanced, sit for 5 days, refreshing as needed. if that doesnt work, I don't even know what else to suggest.

the best way to keep your kid's clothing ink free is to keep the ink away from the kid... that and...
1) try hair spray, I know, you must think I'm nuts, but it works... hair spray onto the stain, rub it, wait a few minutes, rinse it with the hottest water the fabric will take, and you may have to repeat a few times. Never had a huge ink stain, but works wonders for me on little stains
2) try alchohol, not russian vodka, haven't tried that, although I feel like getting a shot of that when I see my kids' clothing. Try medicinal alchohol
Good luck :)

Try Lestoil....it is a household cleaner. Wet stain with the lestoil and scrub with toothbrush. Let sit for like 10-20 minutes and then wash. Also I know you said you tried hairspray, did you use the pump one? Because that works better. I worked in a laundromat for over 11 years and hairspray and lestoil were our lifesavers. Good luck.....hope the stains come out.......Michelle

Carbona Stain Devils has a specific stain remover for "Ink." If you can't find it at your local grocery store, try an online fabric store. I swear by the Stain Devil products and have for the past 10 years when I was introduced to them by someone else. (Use w/hot water yields best results.)

Ok this is going to sound nuts but my husband has this hand cleaner for when he works on cars or what not! I was out of Shout and spill some steak marinade on my shirt! I rubbed a little on and let it sit for 5 minutes and rinsed it in cold wash and it came right out! It is made to take grease out of clothes and off of hands! You can buy it at Auto Zone for like 1.99! It is called Permatex Hand Cleaner!
