I've got a 1993 FXR Superglide with the original black plastic dash. I've been looking to replace it and haven't been able to find anything in the catalogs that will work. I'm not looking for chrome. Anyone know where I might be able to find one that's not going to cost me an arm and a leg? I've already checked out the ones on ebay.

I was gettn all sorts of spam/junk/p*rn crap in my email a couple months ago, & I was pissed...thinkin it's my boys, I go to the landing to the downstairs recroom, yellin at 'em "Which one of you bozo's clicked on p*rn that was virused??!!!--it wasn't my boys/!! It was greybeard!!!!.....I had to ask him to please talk to my well educated boys about which p*rn sites are safe, & which aren't.......!!
Hey solo, are you just looking for the housing or housing and instruments as well. J & P cycle catalog shows several kits and or housings that may work. They show a chrome housing that says it replaces the factory black plastic housing for 40 bucks. Hi Ripley...the one I've got on my bike is plastic. It's not cracked or broken...just crappy looking. I've been using the stuff that makes black black again for years. I've also been looking for a new one for years. Never found one that wasn't chrome. I think what I'm going to do is find a cheap one and have it powder coated.
