Try slipping on a pair of latex gloves (you know, plastic surgical gloves) under your regular riding gloves. You can buy a box of those gloves at most drug stores or automotive supply places. They are cheap and do a surprisingly nice job of keeping your hands warm. They do make your hands sweat, but the warmth is worth it. I know guys who always keep a couple extra pair in their bags and they are chick magnets at the beginning of any cold weather rides.
