since there is no neighborhood for death and black metal (and my attempt to start a new one obviously didn't go through) i just wanted to see where all the extreme metal fans are at? I am a huge fan of death, black and grindcore. some of my faves are vader, marduk, immortal, emperor, waco jesus, behemoth, dimension zero, divinity, kataklysm, ceremonial execution, world downfall, carnal forge, funeral mist, rotting christ, etc. anyone else enjoying these bands and others?

Hey I know what you mean...I tried to get a tattoo site...not happening. I listen to a lot of different stuff but I do like behemoth. It depends what kind of mood I'm in.

I'm into almost every type of music, but I do occasionally throw on some of the unbridled chaos this music emits. My faves areMorbid Angel, Napalm Death, Nasum, Origin, and Suffocation.

Not really into black metal. The whole thing of throwing on paint and using something other than one's real name is too reminiscent of glam.

I am not trying to insult black metal... there's TONS of talent to be had... it just ain't my cup of tea.

I'm into a good amount of death metal... got alot of friends into black metal, which I can dig, but I get tired of the vocals and the synths way too easily. (I do dig some immortal and cthonic though) some of my fave death metal bands (in no particular order) Jungle Rot, Kataklysm, Vehemence, SFU, Cannibal Corpse, Obituary, Skinless, and I been diggin Dissociation (a band I found on MySpace) alot, I just need to order their cd now so I can quit streaming it

(I seen Kataklysm a few weeks ago for the first time actually, very impressed... I just wish vader and them had longer sets (black dahlia murder coulda been cut down a little)

Mostly what I listen to is Crowbar and sludgey music, and alot (ALOT) of viking metal, Amon Amarth, Ensiferum, Tyr, Turisas
