I just wanted to post this to see what kind of opinions are out there regaurding Metalica. I basicly was raised on Master of Puppets and Ride the Lightning. I followed them up untill the Black album and then lost interest untill I heard St. Anger. When I first heard it I thought it was horrible but as it grew on me I started to hear it for what it was just some kick ass straight from the heart metal that Metalica could only produce. Anyways just was wondering what everyone out there thought about Metalica throughout the years. Thanks, Slayerskee (shawn)
I was a huge metallica fan, after justice for all i was like there done, they should just retire, but then i bought there new cd death magnetic and i was blown away, i dont understand why they waited so long to come out with a hard album like death magnetic, they sound like the old metallica back in the lightning day, well i think so, keep it metal brotha's \m/
St Anger is a joke! I couldn't listen to the entire cd because it was so horrible. On that album, they became the thing they used to despise most - POSERS! Instead of being the genius innovators they once were, they decided to make music that was popular at the time, hoping to regain the popularity after the Black album. As far as I am concerned, Metallica does not exist after Justice.
