I recently returned from a trip to the Oregon Coast. I went Camping and Hiking at Alfred A. Loeb State Park, which lies about 8 miles up the Chetco river from Brookings. Then I came down to Harris Beach, just north of Brookings, where I dove into the ocean and got sand in my ears. On my drive home, I stopped to take a hike in the Redwood Forest.

What a great country we live in!
