I love Sierra Designs - have used the electron for a few years now.
just wondering what your favorite is or do you even pack a tent at all?

Been using the Kelty Gunnison 2 for a while now. Good, solid tent. Used it during the winter @ 40 deg. Lots of condensation on the fly but no moisture in tent. Pretty heavy a 4+ lbs so I just bought a Eureka Spitfire UL @ 2.7 lbs a lot lighter. I'll let you know how it fares.

We packed in a Marmot NYX on the NPT and was amazed at how it held up in 4+ hrs steady downpour, no condensation, and this was just out of the box! Vestibule dry and easy to cook in. Temps were approx 25 F in the ams Great Tent Easy set up and very stable. 4.8 lbs split between 2 ppl well worth the money.

For 10 years I have used the same 3.2lb tent - a walrus microswift. In a pinch 2 small people can fit, but not well at all. Even in snow and wind and sleet it has held up very well and even though it is mostly mesh it holds in heat wonderfully! I think now the only place to get one may be from Walrus directly. It is so lightweight and easy to put up in the dark, even though it is not a stand-alone.
