If you want something that sounds good and isn't overpriced then no you don't. The Bose cubes are too small have have a very limited frequency response. They cannot produce the full range that you need for your system. Plus, the Bose head unit does not do video switching, meaning that you have to run a video wire from each component to the t.v. which makes switching a nightmare. Go with a conventional receiver. This will handle all video and audio switching and sometimes even up convert you sources to HDMI. This means one wire to the t.v. and much better sound by using REAL speakers
