I just bought a Receiver and separate speakers, the receiver has a subwoofer cable output, but the subwoofer has normal speaker wire input. Please help me!

If I am understanding your problem correctly the issue you have is that the receiver has one rca output meaning it has to go to a powered sub-woofer or a separate sub amp, but you have a non-powered sub. If that is the case you have to either buy a powered sub, or another amp designed for subs( mono ). I hope this helps.

The other way to connect the subwoofer is if the subwoofer has a speaker wire input and output. If it does, run your front speaker wire output from the receiver to the subwoofer and then run wires out to your front speaker.
It will work but you will not be able to enjoy true 5.1 surround sound from the subwoofer output of your receiver.
The powered subwoofer option is the better and proper way to go.

Or it may be cheaper to buy a MONO PLATE AMP ,you can mount it in the speaker or I have seen them aloung side . look under power amps , and it will show a choice of multi channel, 2 channel or MONO .
Basesd on the size of the speaker you can decide how powerfull of a amp you need .

YOu have a passive subwoofer so you will have to wire youe speakers to the sub then wire the sib to the speaker terminals on your new receiver. This is the old way of hooking up a sub, what you really need to do at this point is purchase a new powered subwoofer. It will sound much better than a passive unit. Hope this helps....
