Favorite would have to be the classic vampire film - but I've been getting into those crazy cannibal flicks from the 70s recently. Anyone else have a fav genre?
Useful Funny
The 1970's-1980's splatter genre. The wetter the better. Anything shocking. Love the handmade special effects.

I have recently rediscovered the Nightmare on Elm street films. I remember them from the 80's and forgot how good and sometimes funny they are. I have watched almost all of them and currently waiting for the last 3 made and cant wait to see them. I think that Wes Craven is fantastic and this series is very entertaining!

I spit on your grave is a great one! We've been watching the latest "8 Films To Die For" series - "Autopsy" from the latest collection is pretty wet and has some shocking scenes.

Don't think I have a fave genre, but I have a least fave and that's cannibal movies. Although, I watch and enjoy slasher films, I like a bit of comedy in it too. I used to watch the Nightmare on Elm Street movies religiously. I heard they were making a new one, but with a more serious Freddy. Kinda sucks. That's what I like best about the series...Freddy's humor.

The nightmare on elm street series sucks. It's o.k. but theirs so meny better films out their. Why watch something thats o.k. when you could watch something better.

i would say the movies that are in the Mystery Science Theater 3000 series, like "The Brain that wouldn't die". Great campy horror film plus hilarious comments added. Very funny.

Love Werewolves. I don't know why unless it's because they have so much hair while mine seems to be thinning with every passing day. Na, I'd love them even if my hair touched the ground.

My favorite genre by far is the late 70's early 80's slasher films. Friday the 13th, Halloween, My Bloody Valentine and so on. I also enjoy the giallo.
