Owning a horse is not cheap if you want to give the horse proper care and a happy life. A happy life for a horse is what is best for the horse, not what man often thinks is convenient or the cheaper route. That's why there are so many horses living a horrible existance. SPCA and other like places are not often a good solution. They are over run and don't have the room or means to support thousands of horses being kicked to the curb. If you really want to help, get online, google this issue and start doing serious research to see what is out there. There are loads of 'rescue' places but not all of them have room for more animals. Just be diligent in your efforts and you will become part of a noble solution. There are scores of sources for adopting and racetracks are a good place to inquire. If you look, you will find them. Dont focus on the atrocities but focus, rather, on the positive side of loving horses and send that vibration into the universe! You'll get a much happier return on the positive vibrations than if you focus negative energy on "fighting the problem". That is a negative cycle. Instead of fighting the problem, HELP and DO GOOD fthings for the solution. It's a twist, but it is part of the law of the universe which returns same for same.
