Who out there has a buggy horse or a horse that will work to a buggy? I have a buggy and no horse.I have reworked this buggy it has new top and seats it is ready for Weddings Or Tours.
I don't personally have a horse that will pull a buggy but I do know that a horse farn located in Kentucky (very SW corner of the state) that have driving horses they use with buggies. The name is GG Flatshod Farms and the owner Gerald teaches some of the horses he trains to pull buggies and wagons.
Hi, I have a 7 yr. old standardbred gelding who would be perfect to pull a buggy. I raced him as a 2 & 3 year old in Indiana. He won at Indiana State Fair in 2004. After his 3 year old year his heart just wasnt in it. I broke him to ride some, but just don't have the time. He is very gentle and would make an excellent buggy horse. He looks a little rough right now cause he isn't totally shed off and he didn't winter all that well, but I can send you a race picture of him if you want. He's light bay with black mane and tail. Very large, I'd say 16- 17 hands. If you are interested, let me know.
