Have a car here Im interested in knowing something about. First off, it's a factory defect, still in the box, mint condition. The car itself is from 2003, a 1934 ford from the radical wrestlers series. I have one that is properly assembled in its package along with the defect, in a separate box, which for being a defect looks pretty good. They left the fenders off of it. Anyone have any thoughts about it as far as value? As far as I know it could be the one and only. Dont know, thats why im asking, hoping someone in here knows better than I do,
lloudt417 - Errors are tough to place a value on. I've always sort of let the market find it's own level when I've come across one. I don't collect them but there are plenty who do. One of the problems with them is that even error collectors have there own niches (missing tampos, missing parts, wheel errors, card errors, etc) - you get the picture. Then there is the whole issue of cars that have been tampered with to look like they are factory errors. So the tough part is finding the collector(s) who collect your particular error. OK - Sorry -not much of an answer as far as value goes but I think my advice is to put it out for what an amount that's reasonable and see where the market takes it. Good luck.
Thanks, pretty much what I thought too. Ill put it on there for what I have in the cars plus shipping and see where it goes. Ive accumalated quite a few of these still in the package with three kids. Kind of like to hang on to all the harley related hotwheels I have. Have a great day and thanks again. -Lloydt
