I've played the Wii and it's a ton of fun. I would suggest buying it at the store though. If there's anything wrong with it you can get the insurance so you're not stuck with a lemon. The deal is you have to buy the console and then you have to buy the Wii Fit game and board combo. I think the console is about $200 and the Wii Fit is about $100. I've been thinking about getting a Wii for myself but there's not enough games for me to even think about spending so much money.

Really? I just never trust buying something like that from eBay. I think if I decide to get one I'll have my bf come with me to Gamestop. They all know him there and they'll give him some kind of deal if there's anything he wants.

Whenever I have to deal with kids I just put on a video and let them veg out in front of the tv. I guess a video game would do the same thing but I think it would get expensive in the end. I always see kids begging their parents for the newest most violent video games. I just saw a kid who was like 7 or 8 asking for the new Grand Theft Auto game that has hookers and gang wars and stuff and the mom bought it!

Hmmm......I heard they are fun, but I am really getting it for the Wii fit.....although I will prolly get hooked all the way around like I was totally hooked on the original Mario Brothers....I could even save the princess...LOL!

I did not realize they (Wii) were that hard to get......but, I think you guys are right, some things are better bought at a store (electronics)....

Lite Brite......now I haven't heard that in a while!! I used to LOVE that thing!

Thanks Leann! I will most definitely let you know.....:)

Itis my birthday August 23rd, so it is a treat to myself....LOL! I am hitting 38, and feel that I am going to need it....haha!

We did not have things like that, either when we were little.....things have really changed, and I am not so sure it is for the better sometimes.....*sigh*

Hey you guys, I found you completely by accident. I'm from your old 'hood.

It's fun to think about these old games that y'all are talking about. I guess we are "dating" oursevles, huh? We must be around the same ages. Does anyone remember this doll that I have as my icon? She was from that era too.

I have a Wii. I bought it for myself cause the controller is way easier to use than other game systems.

She is Drowsy. She looks like she's going to sleep, but she doesn't have those kind of eyes that close when you lay them down. Those are just creepy. Hers stay open, maybe that's creepier! : )

Cindy's doll was Kitty Carryall. How sick is that that I remember?!

Marsha, Marsha, Marsha! It's always about Marsha! I was in love with the boys! Loved the perms!

I had a Mrs. Beasley too. I loved Family Affair and Mr. French.

The Courtship of Eddie's Father was with Bill Bixby.

Uncle Bill (Family Affair) was who, can't remember that guy. Blonde older guy. I'll think of it the minute I hit submit!

Designer - born in '66 myself. I guess I was catching the Brady's the 1st time around.
