I had the control box in the driver's door replaced after it blew the second fuse. It worked for about 1 to 2 weeks then quit. The mechanic says I have to start tracing the problem through the wiring, which means many hours of labor at whatever his rate is this year.
The symptoms:
Neither front seat will move, and the driver's window won't move. The side mirrors won't move, either.
Does anyone have a suggestion where the problem may lie? Or any suggestions?
My mechanic kept my car for 6 weeks last year. 3 of the repairs went south inside of a month, and it came back with an annoying squeak in the rear suspension. Is there a Jag mechanic anyone would recommend within 100 miles of Sacramento, CA?
