I have a 2003 Fully loaded S-Type it's been pretty good to me. I had a 2002 X-Type fully loaded but a trash truck totaled it after owning it for like 3 weeks.
We have a 1998 Vanden Plas! Very nice car! I do need a wheel for it (for the spare) as the bearings went out and we lost a wheel in the process. Fantastic car! Almost lost the front wheel on it when the bearings went from the middle lane on I-71 coming South into Columbus, Ohio, and it looks undamaged!
I concure, Van Den Plas is the best Jag on the market. Oh, and as to the story on the wheel falling off while driving to Columbus...I concure on that also as I was the one driving the car! Although the wheel fell off, I had to admit the car responded perfectly and made it to the side of the road just fine. Many other cars, I probly wouldnt be here to write this message. A matching wheel would be nice for the replacement on there....
I have a 2003 fully loaded X Type, 43,000 miles, it is a great car and I enjoy driving it more than any other car I have ever owned, and believe me, I have owned cars by almost every mark known. (Audi, MGB, Chrysler, Ford, Chevy, Toyota, Nissan, VW, Mazda etc...) I have owned more cars in my life than most (100+), and nothing has ever compared to my Jaguar for the combination of style and performance.
The XJS Convertible is the best in my opinion, the oval lights, the stylishness; it’s a real head turner. Put it this way I always wanted a Vet and was looking for one when I ran across this automobile. This car is also very affordable and hugs the road like no other car I have driven including the corvettes.
I got a 2002 X-Type with 56k on it. It's fully loaded with no problems. i'm looking for some minor performance parts for it, but it been difficult finding anything.
My Dad has a 1968 E-Type and a 1960 XK150. I get to drive them (when I'm lucky!) so I'm honestly really lucky in that regard! One day I'd like to get an XKR...
hi, I have a 2002 xtype 2.5, standard 5 speed, 55900 miles now.. got this car for under 10000, a month ago, not bad for a couple of owners, although its a pretty car, I have a couple of con's with it. it doesn't have heated seats,,it has the original tires which ride like bricks! i do believe that they could have put a better sounding stereo speakers in it. the sunroof in this one is model is rather small and set back compared to others cars. in which if u like open air driving it doesn't really make a difference,,lol and if u have the radio on and it the defroster buttons it cuts out the singal for the radio..lol.... maybe i should have got the van den!
I have an '05 X-TYPE Estate Wagon. Am very pleased with it. I no longer hunt and fish, so don't do the back country thing any more. I have owned many wagons since 1954, and feel I am qualified about them. This is my fourth Jaguar, which started with a 53 XK120m DHC, '92 XJ-40, a '95 XJS 2+2, and finally the '05. In between the XJS and the X-TYPE came a Mini Cooper S. How 'bout dat?
2002 X Type 3.0 AWD with winter package Every option except navagation, don't miss it at all. Put Falken Tires on this car to gain 20miles faster around curves! Women love this car!!!!!!!!! Gets you noticed!!!!! Hate those everywhere Ugly Toyotas!!! Have some style buy a Jag!!!!!
1999 Vanden Plas. Well pleased. Recently ran over a cat while doing highway speed. Cracked the under apron and the windshield-washer-fluid bottle fell down? Due for new company car soon - will put the VDP in the hospital then. Onxy White w/ cashmere
