Can anyone tell me what might be the problem.
I have a 1998 Wrangler the Dash Cluster gauges will not work, all of the lights in it work but none of the gauges work, the I get a No Buss on the milage indecator, I have changed the Cluster & it does the same thing.
I also replaced the computer and it still does the same thing. I had a dealer tell me that they checked the wires and they all worked.
Any sugestions.
Thanks,

That's something, I had a 98 wrangler and it did the same thing. I took it back to the Jeep dealer and they said it was a electrical problem, My window frame leaked water.

Check both the ground lugs where the instrument cluster is grounded to the body. They should be located on the drivers and passenger front kick panle below the dash board. Seems that I read something about this problem a few years ago and Jeep actually put out a recall or service bulletin on this problem. It is supposedly caused by a loose or faulty ground in the aforementioned locations.
Hope this helps.

I have a 2000 Wrangler, and have begun having this same problem intermittently. I'll check the ground lugs - thanks!

I have a 1999 Wrangler Sahara w/ the same problem. I sometimes get the nobuss thing on the odometer and my guages stop working. It's been doing it for years. I found out that Jeep issued a Technical Service Bulletin in May '99 (TSB #08-15-99) titled "Instrument Cluster Intermittent / Erratic Operation". I've nevert taken mine to a dealer but I'll check the grounding on the lugs.
