I have had it for a few months now and I am not quite sure why my jewelry isn't selling at all. Is it the prices? I have make me an offer and I have even done sales. Is it the way it looks or what. I get bunch of lookers on each item and even some watchers but i'm not sure what the problem is.

I have started blogging and that has helped with the beads and have sold a few pairs of earrings, but I would like to sell some of the necklaces and other artist jewelry.

Any suggestions would be appreciated

Your doing something right. You have good feedback. It's a tough economy right now. Just keep on going

Hi, I'm having the same problem :-( I purchased quite a bit of nice quality 'costume jewelry' awhile back. It isn't flying off the shelf like I had hoped. I have even purchased some jewelry off of a well known tv seller. I see other sellers selling the same bracelet, for example, for well above my price - and still no bids or buyers. I've tried various prices, buy it now, and heaven help the .99 starting bid - that is what I end up selling a $15 necklace for, .99 :-( If anyone views my jewelry items and sees what I'm doing wrong, can you let me know?

Happy Friday!

Hun I dont know what to tell you. Your pics, prices and feedback are great. It has to be the economy I would say. Things have been slow this past week for me too. Hang in there!

OH somewhere in this forum I think it was Paul who said to change your store description to meta tags. I had no clue before I read that, but I changed mine and my traffic has increased.

hello!

I don't know much about beads and such....because I don't sell those!\

But objectively looking at your store.....it looks great!
I would not change a thing!

Are you uploading to the google base? that gives you exposure. I know you are blogging because I see you there!

good job!

I love your store! Your pics and prices are right on. I notice that you do not have any of your jewelry or beads in auction. This could be a problem, buyers cannot find your store. Good luck on your lovely items!

Hay Dina...
How do you change your descriptions to Meta Tags?????

Do you mean the Store description under our logo on the Home Page??
I read that too but was not clear on that...thanks again for bringing that up...very helpful.. ;)

Thanks for everybody taking a look. I keep hearing that artisan jewelry is hard to sell here so i just wanted to make sure that it wasn't anything that I was doing wrong.

I may just have to stick with selling the beads and maybe have some earrings. And then after the summer relist the jewelry.

I am going to try and do the google upload and I also am not so sure about the meta tags. but I'm sure i'll figure it out.

Thanks again

Yes Lisa, look at my store header and notice that I only have words instead of sentences. Those are searchable meta tags
it seems to have helped
