Last Successful auto feed on my google base was 6-25th, I got a bunch of emails yesterday that 0 items inserted for the feeds after the 25th. Anybody having the same problem??
Yes, Google is having problems right now. It is suspected that the 'zero items inserted' email may be a mistake. To be sure log into your google account and check that your items are active.
I received a notice from google base a few days ago announcing changes to their listing feeds dealing with item conditions. Specifically, listings need to specify whether they are new or used.
Thank You guys, Yes I noticed that the items are there, even new items says last update 6-25th although I added them 6-30th "weird" . but it says they are missing conditions- although in ebay listing I have them as New- so I had to go in and edit the condition individualy on each item in google base."NOT FUN" . I guess since we are NOT paying for the google store base we cannot complain if it not working right. coolrings
Ok, Yesterday , 106 items inserted, Today 0 items inserted. I check my google base , 0 items published. says items has errors missing "condition" , I check the item details and the condition is listed as NEW. Anyone knows what is going on??? Coolrings
what is going on is that as of July 1st, 2009 - Google REQUIRES that the items that are coming from ebay have the condition of the item as a standard attribute, new, used, etc.
ebay does not have that attribute on their data feeds...so, our items sre not being published to google base
I have tried deleting and making a new ebay data feed - useless waste of time!
ebay simply does NOT have the condition as an attibute, as Google now requires
you have to manually upload your items to get them published properly
