Been doing vintage jewelry for about one year now. I have had some gorgeous items - some have done okay - but I don't really seem to do as well as I should. Any suggestions?
OK, I mean this in the nicest possible way but here's part of your problem. Three of your four pictures are terrible, your titles don't use any good keywords and there's almost no information in your descriptions.
If I go online and do a google search, there's no way your listings are going to come up because I've never put in a search for "Take a look".
Check out the listings of some of the other members of this neighborhood to get an idea of what I mean. You might also read some of the other threads in this neighborhood for some more ideas on how to improve your sales.
I agree with Sherry you need better pictures and more info. While I"m not listing expert, check out my auctions and others who sell vintage jewelry. I have lots in info on the piece, the size, and colors and more. Your pictures are dark so practice taking them in different places with more natural light! Do some research and keep trying - it takes awhile but you'll get the hang of it.
Thanks for the input. I have the hardest time with pictures. I can't afford a really good camera - I'll keep trying with what I have. Thanks again. Kim
First impressions are lasting...and that was never more true than in retail. Your store and your products must look very appealing to buyers or they'll shop elsewhere. The vintage costume jewelry category here on ebay is very competitive so you've got to bring your A-game in order to be successful.
Hi Kimberly, I am new at the vintage jewlery too. looks like you have some good advice from some experts. I took some advise on elaborating on my descritpion and when I changed the title I actually sold it. It came from dawnjewels. I was so happy. take care
