Hi All, I did a search on setting up google adwords for an ebay store, but can't really find anything that says how to set it up. I have the code to add, but where do you add it? Seems like based on other discussions, several of you have this set up and working to track the traffic in your ebay store. Hopefully the answer isn't that it can't be set up. Thanks Jane
If you go to google base, you should click on the icon or tab labeled adwords. From there it will step you through the process for setting up an adwords account. This is not specific to an ebay account. If memory serves me correctly, you list the URL of your store and create a brief ad. Google will then display your store ad when the keywords you select are input by google searchers. It is my understanding that you do not have to add any code to your ebay listings. There is a good tutorial on google adwords there also. I have used google adwords for over a year now, with good results.
Thanks JR. I am really talking about google analytics (sorry, there are so many different products). I have the account all set up with the store URL, etc, but you have to have a code added to your website it says. I use it for another website that I sell from, and they have a specific area to add the code.
Must use Buy It Now and PayPal.
