I bought a small lot of Vintage Jewlery from a Seller here on Ebay, since I am new to vintage selling, wouldn't mind if someone would comment on my price on these items of $7.99
Maybe I should put them in Auction format? .99cents?
Well, you're probably not going to like what I have to say on these. I found vintage Christmas pins hard to move with the possible exception of tree brooches, or the occasional something really special. I have had good luck using them for .99 cent auctions. I've also found that you need to start early and I've already almost sold mine out. I think people are afraid they won't receive them in time if you get too close to the holiday.
I'm going to list my last two Christmas brooches for next week. They are in the something special category, I think. After that I'll let what I have left sit in the store until Christmas and then drop them. I just accumulate all Christmas stuff the rest of the year and start listing them shortly after Labor Day.
that's a mistake alot of sellers make - they wait until it's actually Holiday time to list their items...
you have to be ONE FULL SEASON ahead of the game to sell successfully online!
The Day after Christmas...my store will be geared up and the graophics changes to Valentine's Day!!
Remember---- list your items tyou want to sell for specif holidays EARLY - you have to consider payment and shipping time - and factor that in to your selling and marketing decisions!
I am listing all my Christmas pieces now to run until mid December (then I remove them for my show) so check out my listings, I'm adding daily. And my sales have been good!!
Sweet Lorraine, I did check out your store, you have some beautiful jewlery and such Colorful photos. I have trouble with clarity. Need to learn to use my camera properly.
changed my Santa Claus Pin with Goldtone Border to .99 cent auction
