Most early John Deere signs, were similar to this sign. Rectangular
in shape, the red, black and yellow, colors are brilliant, even today.
This sign measures 72x24 inches, and features the four legged
deer logo, it is two sided, and in excellant condition. It was made by the Veribrite Sign Co,Chicago, Ill. And is listed in the John Deere Two Cylinder Collectibles, book, by Greg Steven, available at Barnes & Nobels. This sign is for sale, and we are trying to see how to get the best price out of it. If you know about what it is worth, please let us know, or how is the best way to advertise and sell it.Can email pic. Thanks.
Useful Funny
You would get the most for it by auctioning it at the John Deere Collectors Center in Moline, Illinois. If it is what I think it is I wouldn't take less then $400 starting. Contact Aumann Auctions for an appraisal.
