What did you all think of the Pirates of the Carribean trilogy? I really loved the first one. The second one was good, I thought Jack wasn't as funny as in the first one. The third one my husband loves. I liked how they kept the history alive, like the rum thing. I just don't get into fighting movies as much as my husband. I don't mind a little, it just seemed like they had a lot in At World's End. Johnny always hot though. That was one constant throughout.
Have you seen the "Got Jack?" shirts on eBay? They're so cute.
I love Johnny no matter what he's in. He looks very good as a pirate, Can't wait for Sweeney Todd this month. Have been a fan since 21 Jump Street. (shows how old I am)
As far as the pirates movies go COTBP is my favorite. Johnny had many great lines in AWE though. I think my favorite was what he said to Tia Dalma while in the Locker:
"You add an agreeable sense of the macabre to any delirium"
I've been a Johnny Depp fan since 93 after seeing Benny & Joon. Saw that face peeking out of the tree and fell hopelessly in love. Didn't know he was alive before that I'm ashamed to say.
I absolutely love Pirates of the Caribbean 1. I have watched it endlessly since 2003. My second favourite would have to be Pirates 3 followed by Pirates 2. Although the bloopers from Pirates 2 are by far the best. "All that is left to do is to climb aboard the Davy Jones' Crocodile Machine or whatever it's called. What's the bloody thing called? The flying what? Dutchman!" "I shall help you to find the compass if you do strange things to my dog, named tim." and many more bound to set you into hystericals.
I have watched all 3 so many times that my husband says I recite lines from the movies in my sleep. My 8 year old will walk in the room, look at the TV, roll her eyes and says, "I've got a jar of dirt". I think she wishes she could bury me in a jar of dirt. lol
I just live Johnny and have a little good news for us POTC fans. Disney is making a fourth POTC and Johnny is reprising his role as Captain Jack Sparrow for the film. It's due for release in 2010. Yay!!!! As for the 3 POTC movies we've already seen, I couldn't pick a fave scene, I drool through the lot, lol!
