Although this last season has been better than the previous three it is still hard to be a Royals fan. To show my comittment I will be wearing a Kansas City A's Jersey and Cap to every home game next season until the boys in blue decide to stop playing like the Kansas City A's of old.
Not living in the KC area is really hard to be a Royals fan as I have been since 1977. I have lived away from the area since 85 I am STILL loyal to my "boys" in Blue.
I've got to agree with you that it's hard to be a Royal's fan these days. But just think about this. We get to go to a Major League stadium and see the highest level of baseball in the world for sometimes less than it costs to go to the movies. It just doesn't get any better than that. I am always excited for the start of a new season but it feels different this year. Especially if you've been a fan for 20+ years you know that the air around the team and the organization has changed and we have something to look forward to. I think I'll pick the team to improve by 10 games over last year and go 79-83. Those are my thoughts...
