Help! I want to make my boyfriend a San Diego Chargers scarf. Something simple, that says chargers at each end, maybe with lightening bolts in it but not necessary, but I haven't been able to find one anywhere. Does anyone have this pattern?

I also cannot find a pattern for a pair of red and gold USC socks.

Does anyone have either of these, maybe that they've already created themselves??

When knitting the letters in to the sock, make sure you knit the letters in from the top of the letter graph down. The same for the scarf. if the letters are running longwise, there's nothing to wory about. But if you're knitting the letters in one on top of the other, make sure you in from the bottom up starting with the s, and from the top down starting with the c on the other side of the scarf. That way, the c's will be near his chest annd the s's will be by his thighs. Make sure you knit the preimeter stitches in a seed stitch, so that the fabric won't curl. For graphing the lightening bolt, just graph a simple lightening bold onto standard graph paper, and than translate the graph paper blocks into stitches. Good luck with the scarf and socks. They sound pretty cool, and I think I might make one of the scarves for myself.
