Fleshy LEGO men?

Does anybody else dislike the reasonably new flesh colour used for LEGO men from films (Star Wars, Harry Potter, Spiderman, and soon to be Indiana Jones). It really ruins your collection, and makes customisation difficult too as there may be a particular head design you want, but its on a flesh coloured head, not a yellow one.Grrrr
Useful Funny
Actually the worst one I've seen is the new Clone Wars version of Anakin Skywalker from the #7669 Jedi Starfighter set. It is just too cartoonish for my tastes

I don't mind them so much. Having different colors adds some depth to a Lego population. Just as the world has many different colors of people, a Lego world can as well.

Unfortunately, a lot of the expressions are awful and many are horrible renditions of the movie characters.

I agree that minifigs look best with yellow heads. I hope Lego will keep yellow as the main minifig skin color.
I keep all my minifig heads yellow.
However I have seen some use of the flesh color heads that are really neat.
Like using them for the fair skinned elves, differentiating them from humans, in LOTR scenes....(c:

As people have already mentioned: I don't mind the new flesh colour, in one way it does make it more diverse, however for me personally I do get a bit sick of "The Simpsons" figurine syndrome from time to time, particularly when Ive got yellow skinned figures in a yellow building / environment... a bit clashy :\

Although this has been said before as well - I do get annoyed at some of the bad face expressions the new ones bring - but not only that, there isn't much of a *good* range yet - all the face expressions I like are on the yellow skin, which is annoying in that they probably wont make newer flesh versions of them either :\

Agreed. Lego figures have been yellow practically since the start, and I have tons of these yellow minifigs that I use. Now we have these pale minifigs that stick out among the rest of them. I hope that Lego sticks with yellow, and saves the more realistic skin tones for the minifigs based off of TV shows and movies.

I find that you can use a water slide decal to make any face you want and get the same lego look. there are a few good custom decal makers out there. cover your parts and pieces does a great job. he usually makes stickers but if you ask him he will do water slide decals.
