I have about 4000 small pieces of LEGOS that my children had. Got my suitcases down from the attic. Went to sell them and people offered me MORE than I asked for so my question is WHY ARE THEY SO VALUABLE. and WHAT ARE THESE PEOPLE LOOKING FOR. Can someone help me with my question?
If you were asking a relatively low price it could be a few people that just wanted to resell them. Or could be a collector taking advantage of a good deal.
Also, you might have some rare parts you are not aware of. Hard to say without a better idea of what you have to sell and what the asking price is.
If you can post some pictures or give more details I could probably answer better.
I guess the other thing about "why are they so valuable" is sometimes (depending on your lego) simply the older it is, the more worth it has, but also LEGO is in general a very long-lasting toy, so even the small bits have more worth than you would think.
Again like thebrickplace mentioned, you would need to show pictures of what kind of LEGO you have. I'm not a seller but Ive bought a few small pieces of LEGO that were a decent price (but more than what I had expected them to be.)
