I'm relatively new to legos -- at least unopened boxes. I purchased 2 large boxed items the other day to sell here at a retail discounter. The side flaps of the boxes were taped down with heavy, but small pieces of tape, instead of being glued down.
The tape has a small black band at each spot exactly where the tape hits the box edges. One piece of tape on each box has a number on it in black. Example: 521W7.
Are these some sort of factory (re)certification? Can I sell these as NIB never opened? or?
