Retired Holly Longaberger Place settings?

My aunt is thinking about selling her retired holly longaberger pottery. She has several place settings and alot of extras. I am trying to help her but I can't find any large groups of place settings on ebay. Is it better to sell in smaller groups or large lots. I think they are 3pc. settings and I think she has 12 settings and a platter, several pie plates, and several candle holders.
Thanks to anyone that can help....

Probably get more breaking up the sets and selling over a period of time. Just my opinion of way things sell. Good luck

I tried selling my holly pottery as a set. It did not sell but individual pieces did. Problem is you are stuck with miscellaneous pieces if all your items do not sell. The pottery sold between 93-03, therefore your buyers are likely folks looking for add-on or replacement pieces.

There are always people just starting a collection (like me) even for a retired product. I'm looking to add a just a few pieces of the holly to coordinate with the ivory pottery during the holidays. I have been watching the holly auctions for several months and recall only one very large group. I agree, I think you would get more selling individual pieces, possibly less by selling by place settings. Please consider discounting shipping for buyers purchasing multiple auctions. Good luck!

luvnr3kids,
These dishes are rare. I sold Longaberger for 16 years. Try selling them in an auction. Have seen people have much success doing it this way.
