In the past few years Dodgers and long term contracts = Catastrophic disappointments. As much as I would love to see A-Rod in a Dodgers uniform since he is the power hitting 3rd baseman we so desperately desire, I am still so torn on this topic as there are few things to take into consideration. 1) No Guarantee for a championship and still continues to play mediocre baseball in the postseason (10 appearances). 2) These types of high dollar contracts are sure to raise ticket prices by at least $10 as well as concession prices.

I am confident that the Dodgers will be a much better team in the 08 season as it has been exciting watching these youngsters develop offensively and defensively. See ya at the newly developed park guys!!

I think the Dodgers should not sign A-Rod at all, he's good and everything but in reality the prices at Dodger Stadium are way too expensive and with A-Rod moving over LA the prices will increased, I am not willing to pay 20.00 for Parking with uneven pavement. We should sign Mike Lowe to atleast 3 yrs with an option of 1yr. all we need is 2 bullpen pitchers and be healthy all Season. Grady Little is out please dont sign Joe Torre, hes just another Phil Jackson lucky Coach with the right players who has no skills, Lets Go Dodgers.
