Nothing like moving away from crescent-city madness to make you appreciate what a wonderful banana-republic we had, Pre-K.

Still, it is a special, beautiful, original place. And don't try to tell me you can live in New Orleans and ever be happy with the food ANY where else, ever again.

The worst part about visiting, is that you have to leave.
