I love a lot of music and yes my favorite band is metallica, but i was thinking about it the other day and there is no other band that has no fillers like metallica. i mean there is no other band that every song is a work of art. My girlfriend dissagrees and says the beatles but i mean i love pantera but there are songs i dont like. same with ozzy, queen, hendrix, and most every band. correct me if im wrong but i know of no other band who every song has as much energy as the last on every album. i mean, do yall agree?
i love all music,and also know that too many "artists" only put 2 or 3 good songs on each cd.i do however like all bob seger,cat stevens,zeppelin,and floyd. there might be a few i'm forgetting,but not many.
I would have to agree and disagree. i would agree that Metallica is a great force in Rock N' Roll music, but i would have to disagree that every song that they have ever done is the greatest. there older stuff is still great but it took me a while to except their huge change, After The Black Album, I think it was that I just needed to understand why they changed. I know as a musician playing the same songs over and over can get really boring and i also know that to a musician it's important to grow musicly. As far as " A work of art" i would agree and i would also agree on the fact that they are a high engery metal band.
I couldnt agree with you more, Metallica is the only band that i can honestly say that i like every song, its really weird if you think about it. I think thats the definition of a true fan. But i am a musician who loves allllll music, except the beatles, f@#$ the beatles

first off, to stephy 3639, dont say fu@k the beatles, just cause you dont like them, dont disrespect, without them alot of the bands you adore wouldnt be around.
anyways, to metallica 424 i know what you mean about Metallica being the only band w/out filler. i can listen to every song on every album from Kill em' All-The Black Album, and Death Magnetic. their other released its only a few songs. atleats they seem to be going back on track. but as for other bands with NO filler what so ever, that is a pretty hard nail to narrow down. i like Megadeth's Rust in Peace, to me that album is no filler what so ever.
OK so you don't groove to Smashing Pumpkins, System of a Down let u down, and never heard of Slayer. No problem. I'll just shut up and agree with you, too. Oh , hey, U2! lol
Ummm...I have to disagree. I couldn't find 10 songs since Justice that are worthy of truly being called Metallica. But here's an album for you where EVERY SINGLE song absolutely kicks ass.
