Ride the Lightning...I could listen to it all day long! Fade to Black is one of my favorite songs ever. Other than that, I would have to say the Black album- only because I listened to it a lot throughout high school, and it has a certain "sentimental" value.

Like the old Metallica best--loved when Jason joined up, they did their best then, IMHO. Great concerts, such a loss when Jason left. Not the same ever since then.

Without a doubt no discussion Master Of Puppets. But if you like master of puppets find S&M. Metallica with San Fransisco symphony. It F N Rocks. I Don't really care for to much after the black album. New stuff sounds too mainstream.
as for owning every single album from No Life 'Till Leather up until Some Kind Of Monster top 3 albums i like are Black Album, Live S^!t; Binge & Purge, and S&M.............. my true preference is Megadeth it was a wrong move for Metallica to kick out Dave Mustaine after No Life 'Till Leather and Kill 'Em All
I guess my favorite album is Ride the Lightning, but my favorite song would have to be Dyer's Eve from ... Justice. Fxcking deep lyrics... But I guess it all depends on the mood you're in when listening to Metallica...
