I just got one!!! Didnt seem that rare to me. I got the limited edition sidewalk and the color only available to sidewalks. Other colors could be chosen but this one didnt come on other models. I am waiting on delivery. Just a one week wait!
I just put my 2007 Mini Cooper S Convertible on eBay w/ the full JCW Performance package and also the Sidewalk kit. The kit was an extra 4,300 - I have the sticker in my auction.
I do not own a Sidewalk Edition Mini, but I have looked into them. They are not a rare/exclusive Mini to find, but most dealerships will only get 1 per store. If you are seriously interested in purchasing the LE Mini, check with your local Dealership and most likey they can find one for you or you can just order it straight from the manufacturer.
