GSX-R1000 2005 the best year so far. I still mis my 1992 GSX-R1100 It may have been big and heavy but it was slow!! (Actually it beat the 99-2000 R1 off the line and into 3rd).

My 2001 Aprilia Mille RSV 1000 with the chip upgrade & Akrapovic Evolution exhaust was by far the most exciting & exhilarating bike I have ever owned or ridden. It didn’t have a high top end but what it did, it did incredibly quick. It was insane. I was headed toward a quick death so I sold it after 3 years of pleasurable ownership.
My current favorite is a tossup between my 1968 Triumph TR6-C & my 1965 Harley Davidson PanHead ElectraGlide.

I once owned and rode a Norton Commando 850 that was very impressive in its day. I now love a slightly slower pace on my Roadking.

Mine is a 2000 Suzuki Intruder LS800 with Jawa Sidecar. BOUGHT the sidecar on ebay...works wonderful. took a lot of adjusting and then I had a flat... was fun but ok. I survived and so did everything else. THIS rig works well on the dirt road now. Haven't had to do the mud with it but I am sure it will happen. ha ha. ALWAYS gotta be ready for rain. is gonna get ya sometime. fun. normajean

Since, this being my first bike so i can only say the 03 R1 with mods, as long as you ride, all the brands are great to me.
