Build a new wiring harness. Better than Honda made it. Use larger AWE wire, wire into a central fuse box that is easy to get to. Use metal connectors and crimp with a McDaniel's crimper. Cover splices with 2 layers of shrink tubing. Your harness is soooo old its best to start from scratch, and do everything at once. Its really the best way. Happy trails :o) Ms. Traci

Okie Dokie...How good are you at troubleshooting electronics? You have a short/open or just something causing a lot of resistance. Follow the lines from the plugs and fuel pump. See if you have continuity. Their may be just one problem, or you have 2 separate problems. If you have 2 problems you can isolate, new spark plug wires and plugs. Perhaps and a new fuel pump if you have 2 problems. If one - go up the line from where they meet and check resistance - if so you only have one problem. Then you replace the damaged circuit (cheap fix if you are lucky). Regards Ms. Traci

hey not to offend, but you know that the fuel pump on an old v4 honda only works when the engine turns over, right? Not like a car. they can be a bitch to prime the carbs sometimes when they're completely dry. you can use clear hose to run from the tank down to the pump and with the seat off you'll see bubbles/fuel moving when you crank the motor if the fuel pump is working. hope this helps
