I currently have two bikes; -1983 Honda Shadow vt750c -1984 Honda Sabre vf700s
I just purchased the Shadow as a second bike (couldn't pass the price up $300), the Sabre I have had since '93. I have gotten back into riding after just using the Sabre as a bike to run to work or small rides around town. This year I have 1100 miles on the Sabre and 800 on the Shadow, I hope to get the Shadow up the 1000 mile mark before the snow flies!!!
Had a Honda Shadow 750 about 8 years ago...sold it to get a bigger bike (Harley) then the car broke down, and ended up getting a new Ford Escape instead. After years of regretting selling the bike, and going back and forth with "I'm getting older now" I was talking with another female friend who rides who confirmed "yeah, you're not getting any younger, so get what you want!" Well, I was out shopping for a ceiling fan one day, and stopped by the Harley dealer a few doors down and ended up getting a 2007 FXDL Dyna Low Rider instead of a fan. Been riding all summer, loving it and still don't have the ceiling fan. (I'm not home much in the summer anymore)!
1982 Yamaha XV750 Virago I've had this a 3 years now, had to do some work to get it running right at first. Not an extra dime was spent following startup cost. Of course it needs tires now. 1982 Suzuki GS450t I just bought this in september. I rode it 3 times and am currently cleaning it up. It will be my wifes trainer bike.
Afer going ride-less for some years, I picked up a 2002 Indian Chief Roadmaster. Had owned a sportster and a few metric bikes before. I am enjoying the big twin and am interested in talking with other owners to discuss parts and accessories.
I'd ride every day if it wasn't for "real world" stuff!! And if I could do trackdays every week I'd know I was dead and in heaven! I just designed some t-shirts I'm having printed up and I'm going to list them here on eBay. Make sure you look for them. Take care all. TTYL.
To date 05 Kawasaki 800 Classic V&H pipes Hypercharger re-jet, new low rider seat,bars,VAC grips head light VTX style,rear light from HD,Forward controls and doing new paint job this winter. O7 M109R just getting started on this one.
I have a 2000 H/D Ultra Classic man this is 1 nice ride. I have only had It about 2 months & I Love It. I previously had a 1983 GL1100 Goldwing for 2 yrs & that was a great bike also but It was time to upgrade.
