I just ordered the Fezzari Alta Peak last week, of course UPS is taking their sweet time to deliver it. The ordering process was great and so far their customer service is amazing. I am still waiting on the bike which should finally be delivered tomorrow so that I can get a better feel for how well the fitting process translates to how well the bike actually fits me and just how well the bike is made and put together.
I got my Alta Peak yesterday; the bike was in great shape after its 1500mile road trip. I thought there would be some more bubble wrap or just more protection but the bike was beautiful out of the box. Setup was about an hour. If you’re familiar with the latest bike technology then everything should be a breeze, for me I am still trying to figure some stuff out. I took the bike out on the trails and it was really nice. The only issue I am having is the rear shock; it does not seem to engage. I am a large guy, 280 to be exact and I guess they set it for my weight but it just seems to be way too rigid. So far my experience with Fezzari has been great and I would recommend getting a bike from them.
I ordered the Cascade Peak, and it is by far the best bike I have ever riden. You can't go wrong with this company as both their product and customer service are excellent (When calling, you actually speak with a live person without having to negotiate those infuriating automated systems). If you do order the Nebo, you'll love it.
Lance I have been riding my Alta Peak hard for the last 3 weeks and I love it, still getting use to the lock outs and all the other adjustments available on the bike.....went down a long rocky decent locked out...argh. I feel that the cockpit is to short on the bike for my prefrence, I am wondering if a different stem and straight handle bar would help with this, what do you think.
I've owned a Nebo Peak for about 6 months and love it! It's so much lighter than my previous bike, especially for being FS. You can't beat the quality, customer service, or the bike itself when you compare to anything and anyone else out on the market.
