I thought it might be a good idea to introduce yourself, and share some mountain bike info.
I'm Traci - 33 years old, married to a mountain bike junkie, and live in Sandy, Utah.
I have been riding mountain bikes for about 5 years. I ride a *pink* Titus Moto-lite and a Kona Stinky Deelux and am lucky to be so close to SO many diverse trails. I love riding cross country in Park City, downhill at Deer Valley, and freeriding in Moab. I also love to travel to ride, and hope to get to Whistler next fall. Some of my favorite places to ride are Moab, Brian Head, and Big Sky.
I m 39 somethin living in Independence Mo. I have been riding forever. We have one of the best trails ever called Landahl park. I am lucky enought to ride a new bike every few months or so. I am currently on an 09 giant trance x. This one may be a keeper though..........until the next wonderbike comes out.
I am Tony, Raced Moto-X for 15 years and Now enjoy MTN Biking with my Wife Alison and our friends Robert and Dana. We live in the North Ga Mtn's and have many courses to ride with in a short drive.
I ride a 08 DiamondBack Coil EX 20" Frame, while Alison is at this time on a Vertical FS. Our son Bailey tags along some, but at 10 usually cant hang in for a days ride...
hey everyone! most of my friends call me Dare cause I'll try anything on my bike. ive been on a trek Jack 2, 07 model and i love it. this is really my second year but this last year ive hit some trails. I do Dirt Jumping and love cross country. i cant wait till i can try freeriding/downhilling. i'm thinking about custom building a full suspension bike. there arent too many trails around were i live so i ever have to travel a bit or rid some of the smaller local trails, which are just fine. the trails i found so far are beginners trails and i cant say im not a beginner. my group of friends have just started this mtn biking stuff also. we all love it!
I'm best known as Scout and am 27 and just getting started with cycling. I've had a bike for a few years, but am just now getting to where I ride it in the mornings before work. Still pretty much a novice when it comes to trails and such, but it beats the hell out of stationary bikes at the gym and I refuse to jog.
My bike is a blue/ silver Gary Fisher "Advance". I guess that's a medium range bike. It suits me for what I do. I was shocked to see what some bikes go for. I've added some accesories though. I now have a light so I don't get creamed in the mornings before the sun's up and I added a rack and some bags so that I can use it for quick trips to the store just down the block instead of using the car all the time.
I am 34..almost 35..and live in San Antonio, TX. I currently ride a Fezzari Nebo Peak. I've been mtbin' for about 5 years and after moving to TX I got more into riding, so much that there is now a website all about it, MountainBikeTx.com, that lists over 130 places to ride throughout the Lone Star state and a whole lot more. Check it out!
I am 43 year old female that rides a hardtall Trek hardtail Alpha 4900.
The first time I rode, I was 30 yrs and was on a vacation to Moab, UT with an outfit called BackRoads. As scary as some of those steep switch back Jeep trails could be, we had a wonderful time. Fortunately I survived all of the high stuff and wiped out on a rock at the bottom of a descend. My knee swelled up and I was not able to make it on the Slick Rock Trail. I was hooked after that!
Now I ride at Croom in the Withlacoochee State Forrest in Florida and belong to the local Mountain Bike club appropriately call the "SWAMP Club."
I see they have a Muddy Buddy in Orlando. I may have to give this a try!
