I just received an MP4 Player yesterday, it worked fine until this morning. It is frozen at the 'hour glass' display when it is first turned on.
I do not even believe it is worth the effort of returning. It took almost two weeks to receive it. The sad part about it is that I really liked it while it worked. Just goes to show to only purchase an item such as this locally.
The firmware probably crashed. If you can get the included CD to load on your computer, the firmware may be on the CD. But I could not get the CD to play on my computer. When you plug the player into the computer, does it show up as "Removable Disk"? If so, at least you'll have an 8GB flash drive, if that is any conciliation.
