We used to have a '71 GTO Hardtop with a 455 H.O. engine and a M22 rock crusher trans and a 373 12 bolt posi rear. Also came with a factory 800 CFM carb. My husband used to race it in Englishtown, NJ at Raceway Park. He eventually sold it, but he sure missed it after he sold it.
Had a 68 Camaro with a 327 double hump heads White with black Racing stripes, Cowl induction hood, White Deluxe Interior with the lighting shifter. Man I miss that car.
Also a 78 El Camino SS 350 V-8 10-1 comp ratio, SS Interior done up like a dale Jr turck series.
Also an 86 SS El Camino, 305 V-8 Worked Up to 300HP, Swett ride.
And Lastly a 67 Mustang with a Hi Pro 289 V-8 275 HP out the gate from ford, Pony interior, VERY nice.
at this time im shopping for my next one i have had a 67 chevelle , a 68 chevelle a 72 nova and am now looking at either a 63 nova or a 69 nova not sure which one yet
i have a 67 mustang ive been building on for a while. me and my dad built the frist motor for it a 289 bored .040 over crank polished, heads ported, full roller rockers, proformer intake, holley 650 duel line double pumper, long tube race headers, and few other goodies. But thats in the past now cause im building a 393 stroker for it i like about $2500 from having the motor done and another 6-700 to match it up with a t-5 trans
I had a 68 chevy 2 with a inline 250, bored .030 over with dual point dist, split headers, holley 450. Would smoke a stock V8. I also had a 73 Nova SS pushing 526 hp. Next would be a 79 RallySport Camaro, around 450 hp. A 69 Buick Skylark GS stage 1. And now I have a 74 corvette this car is a freak, 570hp in a 3100 lb car. 0 to 100 in about 4 sec. about 3 miles to the gallon at idle. seems like it though. If I drive it normal I go about 40 miles on 1/2 tank of gas. Sorry had to fix typo. my key board does not always type what I think. And yes the cars weight is around 3100 lbs due to the fact we eliminated about 200 lbs of steel, and replaced alot of the parts with aluminum. Most of it was engine weight.
i've got a 68 camaro i'm working on -replaceing everthing,i also have a 73 camaro,. just got rid of a 84 z/28 pro street 89 ralley sport camaro,a 05 mustang a 05 dodge magnum,and a 93 big block duellie,a 93and a 88 chevy lowrider pick-ups, over the years i've had 27 camaros 67-69 about 7 -70 thru 73 and tons of the newer ones, vettes,plymouths,dodges,mustangs,56 and 57 chevys, now i want a old coupe, i have custom built bikes to trade for one
Hello, I have a '69 Z/28 Camaro. It is not original but it is fun to drive(not trailer). It has a 355 cid motor in it. It has an M-21 muncie, 3:73 gears, centerforce clutch, Cragar S/S mags, Edelbrock 750 carb, Hedman headers. It is garnet red metallic(maroonish) with black cherry racing stripes. I have never taken it to a track but am confident I could pull off a time in the 12's. Nothing superfast but enough to get me in trouble... or not!!
79 Z28 355/ 5 speed keisler with 373 posi 12 bolt 750 demon and world heads 200cc runners with comp cam roller rockers. she likes 110 octane but at 8 bucks a gallon she only gets it on special occasions. esp at 8 miles to the gallion. lol.
I remember wanting a 1968 Z28 when it was new on the street - the air rumbled and you could feel your insides vibrate when the throttle was popped wide open.
By the time I got my Camaro, it was 1976, no Z28's that year but a yellow Rally Sport with blacked out hood and top, orange accent stripes and a nice tail spoiler. 350-4 barrel but very disappointing. Not as much power as expected, 13 MPG and no traction in NY snows, even with special euro snow tires. ditched it in less than 1 year.
Now own 'modern muscle' - a Lexus IS350. 3500 lbs, 3500 cc, 307 HP, 6 speed trans. 0 to 60 in 4.9 sec., rev limited to 149 MPH, gets 28 MPG at near to legal highway cruising speeds. Test drove the others, stick and automatic. This felt faster, more nimble, rock solid body, fantastic service reputation. And it doesn't attract 'flashing lights' attention like a muscle car or corvette!
i have a 70 Z/28 with a 302 in it and i do have the LT1 for it to it has the M22 rock crusher 4speed with 411 rear gear's its hugger orange with black stripes also have a 57 bel air wagon i'd like to sale less motor has th 400 tran's with 410 posi rear end
in have a pair of SS camaros 1999 and a 2000, both with 6 speeds one runs 13's and the other 12's, both get atleast 21mpg in the city and around 26 on the highway... 1970ss chevelle, 3.31 posi, custom built m22 4 speed, 454 .030 over, edelbrock heads and intake with dome pistons and a comp extreme energy cam had a 1977 camaro with a 350 and a 1979 chevy half ton with a mildy 350 and my dad and I used to have 3 1990 chevy SS454 pick up trucks, just sold mine last year, had 23,000 miles on it
