I've lived in New Orleans since right before Katrina (don't worry, I wasn't settled, therefore barely directly affected). Well as time has gone on, this city has really grown on me and become home. I know there are people out there that would love to come here, but never have a chance. Does anyone think a mystery box auction full of New Orleans items that give a feel for what the city is really about, would be a good idea? The only thing is that I am one of those people that love to spoil and would probably spend at least $50+ on items to put in the box, and am concerned that the auction might not go that high.
