The 1st offense (without Deuce, Colston, Shockey & Henderson) played great and put in a nearly flawless initial drive for a TD. The 2nd squad offense was finally able to get it together after a pair of 3 and outs and as long as Palko can handle the snaps, his 3rd group offense did fine too. Overall, the defense was decent and (from my initial impression at least) appears to be better in coverage than last season even without McKenzie in there. The D-line looked solid but there was no Brian Young or Hollis Thomas in the mix for that first outing so you can't really evaluate them just yet without those guys going at it too. I am ready for a fun and exciting season this year from our Saints! I just ordered my first replica Shockey jersey off Ebay for the games this season but I still want an authentic one that I can get him to autograph maybe at training camp next year.
