I have a Nikon D50 for sale and would like to have available the actuations and usage of this camera for propective buyers. I notice actuations mentioned by those who have cameras for sale. How does one determine the usage and actuations?
that's a good question. I have a D300 up and had people ask. I just look at Lightroom and see how many pics are under that camera but that's just a guess. I looked this up and found this web site http://www.techmalaya.com/2008/01/22/ I'm going to try it out when I get a chance.
Just downloaded it and tried it out it seams I have 5168 clicks!
(I)nformation which will pop up a small window showing more than a dozen bits of info about the file, and will have several buttons. Click the one labeled "EXIF" and another window will pop up showing *lots* of information about the pictures, such as what was used for the shutter speed, aperture, ISO, time and date that the picture was taken, whether the flash was used, the lens's focal length, etc., etc. The number of actuations seems to be listed a bit differently depending on the camera's manufacturer.
