I looked at Nokia's most recent press releases on their website to see what I could find. On Aug 26th they issued a press release that stated the N96 would be available starting in the fourth quarter - so I'd be on the lookout later this month and the beginning the October.

In a Sept. 3rd press release Nokia announced that it began shipping the N96 out to distributors and retailers in Europe...so it shouldn't be too much longer for us.
